[edit] his confrontational style

The article talks about "his confrontational style" but doesn't give any basis for this statement. His Glibc release announcemnts where he accuses Stallman of a hostile take-over I suppose would be one[1], but one example doesn't define a style. Gronky 19:44, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, there's his talking shit about secure functions, seen here, when it happens enough, something does seem to take on a pattern. Janizary 22:24, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
In reality, he is talking shit about str* functions which were designed for systems with just a few KBs of memory. And he's right, both qmail and postfix have their own (dynamically allocated) string handling functions, and there's a reason for that. OTOH, if saying loudly what he thinks is "confrontational style", then I guess he has that. Sometimes you just have to say things in a rude way just so people don't think they can politely ignore your arguments. -- ninjalj 12:40, 06 April 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.42.114.56 (talk)
If more examples are needed, here is one too. Given enough time, one can certainly find hundreds of his insults and blatant statements in public mailing lists and bugzilla discussions. AbelCheung 19:27, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
