The Smooth-leaved Elm Ulmus minor subsp. minor cultivar 'Folia Alba-Punctata' was first described by C. de Vos [2] in Woordenboek 135, 1867, as Ulmus campestris fol. albo punctata, having leaves dotted, not flecked, with white. The tree is assumed to be U. minor by Green [1]. It is unlikely the tree remains in cultivation.
