The Wych Elm Ulmus glabra cultivar 'Spectabilis' appeared circa 1915 at the Pallesens Nursery, Kølding, Denmark, where it was selected for its extremely rapid growth in its early years [1]. It is not known whether the tree remains in cultivation.
