The Wych Elm Ulmus glabra cultivar 'Latifolia Nigricans' was described by Pynaert in Tijdschr. Boomtelt 58. 1879 as very vigorous, the leaves being large and of a dark tint [1]. It is not known whether the tree remains in cultivation.
