The Japanese Elm Ulmus davidiana var. japonica cultivar 'Reperta' was registered in Germany by Conrad-Appel, Darmstadt, for a University of Wisconsin-Madison selection (No. 43-8) in 1993. The tree was not available in the USA by 1995, but was possibly to be renamed before patenting there [1].
