The American Elm Ulmus americana cultivar 'Variegata' was a Belgian clone with white-spotted leaves, mentioned by Wesmael [2] in Bull. Fed. Soc. Hort. Belg. 1862 [1]. 'Variegata' is unlikely to remain in cultivation.
