The American Elm Ulmus americana cultivar 'Skinner Upright' was raised by Skinner's Nursery, Roblin, Manitoba, in 1954 [1]. Specimens were once grown at the arboretum of the Morden Research Station, Manitoba, but it is unlikely the tree remains in cultivation.

The tree is not known to have been introduced to Europe or Australasia.
