'Jackson' is a cultivar of the American Elm Ulmus americana, selected from Wichita, Kansas, reputedly shewing no signs of disease damage at > 50 years of age. However, the tree had not been tested (< 1995) by artificial inoculation [1]. Last listed in the Fall 1994 - Spring 1995 catalogue of the now-defunct Arborvillage Farm Nurseries, Holt, Missouri.
The tree is not known to have been introduced to Europe or Australasia.
