The Wych Elm Ulmus glabra cultivar 'Cebennensis', the Cevennes Elm, was raised by Audibert at Tonelle, France before 1830. Loudon described it thus: "Its habit is spreading like that of (the species), but it appears of much less vigorous growth" [1]. The tree is probably no longer in cultivation.
