[edit] "44 islands"

Are there that many islands? Leaving aside the ROK's official language policy, shouldn't it say "rocks" or "islets"? Wikipeditor 06:24, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Well... per Islet and Island, an islet is just a small island. So the language is not strictly incorrect; I agree that it's a bit misleading, though. -- Visviva 10:32, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
I should've thunk of that. It's still wrong for rocks, though – alhough there seems to be a belief by which referring to a group of rocks as “island” many times may actually transform it into one. Wikipeditor
