Uliana Alexandrovna of Tver

Uliana Alexandrovna of Tver (Russian: Ульяна Александровна Тверская) (c. 1325 – autumn 1392) was a daughter of Grand Prince Alexander of Tver and Anastasia of Halych, and second wife of Grand Prince of Lithuania Algirdas[1].

In 1349 Algirdas the Grand Prince of Lithuania sent an embassy to the Golden Horde, proposing to khan Jani Beg to form an alliance against Prince Simon of Moscow; but this proposal was not accepted. Then Algirdas in 1350 concluded peace with Simon and was married for a second time to his sister-in-law (Uliana's sister Maria was married to Simon), princess Uliana of Tver.

After the death of her husband Uliana became a nun under the name Marina. She died after 1392.

Uliana and Algirdas had thirteen children:
