Uli is a town in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state in Nigeria. It borders Ihiala, Amorka, Ubulu, Ozara, Egbu. The Anambra state University of technology is located in Uli. Uli is also bordered by the Oguta Lake, making it an attractive little town. During the Biafran Civil War the Biafran Airport was also located at Umuchima in Uli. ULI has also produced many eminent people in Nigeria, Dr ABC Orjiako a surgeon, business mogul and one of the greatest philantrophist ever to come out of the south eastern Nigeria hails from Umuchima Uli. Chinwoke Mbadinuju a one time Governor of Anmbra state Also came from Uli.Ichie (Sir) G.C. Okonkwo an elder statesman renouned for his impeccable character and progressive ideas, and who wrote the most comprehensive book on the history of Uli people 'URI'. Uli is a small progressive town, with many of its sons and daughter all over the world.
