Ulf Hoelscher is a violinist born in Germany in 1943. Soloist with the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Wiener Symphoniker, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. He has recorded numerous concerts by Beethoven, Berg, Bruch, Schumann, Spohr, Saint-Saëns, and Tchaikovski.
He teaches violin at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe and the Accademia di Cervo[1], Italy.
He plays an 18th century Guarnieri violin.
