[edit] Miuse of Wikipedia
I have been looking at the keystroke logging article on wikipedia, and i have noticed that there are 2 or 3 companies that are listing their products under external links, and when you click on these, you are taken to a page that you can buy an external keylogger for around $99, this is quite clearly a breach of wikipedia rules, i have deleated these links at various times, but they are continuosly reposted! What can i do to help maintain Wikipedia rules and practices in this instance? Any help would be much appreciated.
- Hm. Two ideas come to mind. First, I'm a very active RC patroller, so I've added keystroke logging to my watchlist. If I should add anything else, please let me know. Second, you might consider asking at the talk page for WikiProject Spam. Thanks so much for your time; it's unfortunate that we don't have more dedicated users, but we're all in this together, eh? :) Luna Santin 13:38, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Brooke photography
The article Brooke photography has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. See WP:ATTRIBUTION. NawlinWiki 17:31, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
