The {{UK Trams}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every general UK Trams article which do not fit into the following categories, Template:UKTrams Blackpool, Template:UKTrams preserved or Template:UKTrams modern, Template:UKTrams historical, Template:UKTrams proposed and are within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

{{UK Trams
| class           =
| importance      =
| small           =
| nested          =
}}

The parameters are used as follows:

  • class – The article's quality assessment. Valid values are: FA, A, GA, B, Start and Stub. Adds articles to the appropriate subcategory in Category:UK Trams articles by quality.
  • importance – The article subject's importance within WikiProject UK Trams. Valid values are: Top, High, Mid and Low. Adds articles to the appropriate subcategory in Category:UK Trams articles by importance.
  • small – Toggles between the wide and small version of the banner. Specifying small=yes produces the small banner; all other values produce the large banner.
  • nested – Toggles between the normal and nested version of the banner for use within {{WikiProjectBannerShell}}. Specifying nested=yes produces the nested banner; all other values produce the normal banner.
