the ending is when the children find out that a man named Mike Rotch was the brother of there mother and show them a passage way to there parents. luckly, they survived the fire. they children spend the rest of the book telling there parentsabout there adventures. eventualy at the end of the end, they kill count olaf with a harpoon gun found on the beach they are stranded on.
