It is expected that as this project grows we will be able to branch out into notice boards for the individual countries of the UK. It is intended that these will run alongside the main UK board.

Note that Wikipedians in Northern Ireland may also be found at Wikipedia:Irish Wikipedians' notice board.

[edit] Announcements

  • The recently created VisitBritain article needs a bit of attention, if anyone can help. « Keith » 22:16, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Please continue this discussion at Talk:Saint Patrick's Flag
  • Belfast has been successful as the Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography's collaboration of the month. For anyone who's interested in helping to get the article up to FAC standard, there are many resources and a guide available on the UK Geography Project page. Anyone has experience in editing City articles, please add your expertise to this collaboration. --Mal 02:06, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
  • There is inconsistancy by way of collective demonyms regarding specifically Northern Irish categories. I propose that, logically speaking, all categories concerning Northern Irish people be renamed to reflect the correct usage, and to standardise all relevant articles. A debate is ongoing here. Please see this announcement on the Northern Irish Wikipedians' notice board. --Mal 03:48, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
  • As of the 17th of February, 2006 the Wikipedia:Northern Irish Wikipedians' notice board in in development. I have renamed the project for consistancy (English, Scottish, Welsh... Northern Irish). I need experienced Wikipedians' help to standardise and build the page, and to ensure that it is listed in the relevant Wikipedia project categories etc. --Mal 03:52, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
