Talk:Uk

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think this page should be moved to (UK (disambiguation)), instead of that being a redirect to here. Then, this page should be redirected to United Kingdom directly, for the other "UK" meanings ("University of Kentucky" and "University of Kansas"). This page would then be linked from the "United Kingdom" page, as I think most people would take UK to mean United Kingdom, and there are many pages that link directly to here, but not to United Kingdom. I see that a few people are using robot assisted disambiguation to solve this problem, but I think it would be much simpler my way. Secfan 13:50, 12 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I agree completely - surely nobody types in Uk to get the other meanings - my vote is to go right ahead and change that Bish 18:53, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
