Ujm = Ulrich J. Mohrhoff
I teach maths, physics, and quantum philosophy at the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education (SAICE) in Pondicherry, India.
I received my education (in physics) from the University of Göttingen, Germany, and the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India.
I am interested in the foundations of contemporary physics (the well-tested theories, i.e., the Standard Model and general relativity, not empirically unsupported speculations like string theory), their ontological implications, the mystery of consciousness, and the place of physics in the larger reality explored by Indian psychology and metaphysics.
I have published [1] numerous papers on these subjects.
Since March 2007 I am also the managing editor of AntiMatters, a quarterly open-access journal published by the SAICE. It addresses issues in science and the humanities from non-materialistic perspectives.
