Please stop. If Rlevse doesn't want you to post on his talk page, please respect his wishes. GlassCobra 21:39, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

OK, I will, I just thought the fact that he insulted me for attempting to follow policy was odd.--UhOhFeeling (talk) 21:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fact tags

You've been adding a large number of fact tags to many different articles and seem to have crossed the line into fact tag bombing. Please discuss any further need for citations or references on the article talk pages before adding more. If this behavior continues, you may be blocked for disruption. Dreadstar 23:28, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm not adding fact tags to promote any point of view and it seems you have no good reason to accuse me of doing so. I'm simply trying to add to the quality of wikipedia. As you may notice some of them that I put up are now cited. The fact tag's work, at least to some degree. They even convinced you to cite something on Thailand's king. Please think a little more carefully before accusing someone of something with no grounds to do so. Remember, assume good faith is a policy.--UhOhFeeling (talk) 01:14, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Please assume good faith, no one "convinced" me of anything, I do this type of work all the time, dabs and finding references. You're overdoing it by adding too many fact tags. If you think something needs to be cited, then why don't you find references instead of adding multitudes of fact tags. If you keep going on as you have been, you will be blocked. [edit] Personal attacks

I'd suggest refraining from making comments about my age. Dreadstar 07:27, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Drive by tagging

Let me be more specific about what I see as a tendency on your part to engage in Drive by tagging, something that is strongly discouraged. "The editor who adds the tag must address the issues on the talk page, pointing to specific issues that are actionable within the content policies, namely Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons". Also take note of Wikipedia:Tag bombing, which delivers essentially the same message. Dreadstar 07:40, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Both links refer to tags and what the proper action for tagging should be, "drive-by tagging" is strongly discouraged, period. Your massive additions of fact tags to articles was brought to my attention by other editors because they saw it as disruption. You've also engaged in personal attacks and edit warring, which only adds to that view. Dreadstar 07:47, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm on your side, UhOhFeeling. People contribute to Wikipedia in many different ways. Despite what you may have been told, you are under no obligation to find references to back up things that you're in question of. Adding {{fact}} is a perfectly reasonable way to handle it; and is more than most Wikipedia readers do. I've seen no indication that you're attempting to push a point of view by adding tags.
While I'm not an admin, I'd be happy to weigh in if you ever need an outside opinion. I've added my thoughts to the Incidents Noticeboard. Cheers, WalterGR (talk | contributions) 08:18, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
My only advice would be:
  • Use {{fact}} if you only add a couple of them to an article.
  • Use {{refimprovesect}} if a section needs more references. Details here: Template:Refimprovesect
  • Use {{refimprove}} if an article needs more references. Details here: Template:Refimprove
  • Use {{Unreferenced}} if an article doesn't have any references. Details here: Template:Unreferenced
  • Never use tags to push a point of view.

[edit] Pub grub

Hey, thanks for the note, glad you liked the change. I think there's a great opportunity to tell a broader story on "Pub Grub". The multi-cultural impact on the fare found in pubs over time. Dreadstar 04:32, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] References

It's good to see you finding and adding references to articles. Just make sure there's a properly formatted reference section so they show up, I added one to this article. I also reformatted the reference link per Wikipedia:CITE#Citation_templates. Here's a handy tool for formatting refs. Dreadstar 17:38, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image

From my browser (IE), it looks like the image is floating properly, what text is being obscured? Here's some info on formatting images: Wikipedia:Picture tutorial. Dreadstar 02:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Hm. Well, I could see all the words from both IE and Firfox, although the format was slightly different. How does it look now that I've moved the Wiktionary entry and shrunk the image? Dreadstar 02:59, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Excellent. Dreadstar 03:10, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
