I live in Los Angeles.

I have a Bachelor of Music in classical guitar performance from UC Santa Barbara, a Master of Arts in humanities from New York University, and an MA in American history from the University of Southern California.

I am a doctoral candidate in the history department at USC. My main research interests are the nineteenth-century American West, immigration, African American history, and cultural history.
