Uh-Huh is the seventh album by John Cougar Mellencamp, released in 1983 (see 1983 in music).

In 1989, it was ranked #32 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the The 100 Greatest Albums of the 80's.

Uh-Huh contained three Top 20 Billboard Hot 100 hits; "Crumblin' Down" reached #9, "The Authority Song" made #15, and "Pink Houses" peaked at #8.

This is the first album in which he was allowed to use his real last name; previous albums were credited as "Johnny Cougar", and then "John Cougar".

"Authority Song" is referenced in Jimmy Eat World's album Bleed American, in 'The Authority Song'.
