UGK Records is a record label located in Port Arthur, Texas of which Pimp C was the founding member. UGK Records was founded in late 2005, after Pimp C was released from prison on parole. The rapper was in the process of negotiating a major distribution deal for the label before he died in a Los Angeles hotel room on December 4, 2007.
The UGK Records label includes many artists from the southern United States.
