[edit] Cro Cop vs. Kongo

Please translate the #4 source (where apparently it says Cro Cop vs Kongo)

See here. hateless 01:04, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Here is a translation as accurate as I can give you...

Since some time now there are rumors on the internet regarding a european duel between the croatian Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic (22-5-2) and the french Cheick Kongo (10-3-1). Check Kongo confirmed the rumors about a fight against the PRIDE Grand Prix World Champion to Ground & Pound: "Yes, it is true", was the short and unambigious answer, if he is going to meet Mirko Filipovic at UFC 75 in England.

Check Kongo had his last fight at UFC 70: Nations Collide against Assuerio Silva and defeated him via majority decision. Kongo now fought 4 fights for the UFC, three of which he could finish in his favor. With "Cro Cop" now his biggest challenge so far will await the french.

Mirko Filipovic had his UFC debut in february and destroyed Eddie Sanchez in less than 5 minutes. Similiar to that fight his second UFC fight against Gabriel Gonzaga was supposed to work out, but everything came different than expected. Gonzaga showcased at the end of the first round a High-Kick which sent "Cro Cop" brutally to the ground and finished the fight. Against Cheick Kongo he now wants to rehabilitate himself and close in to title contention.

In the main fight of the event the title fight in the light heavyweight divison is scheduled, in which the UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson will meet PRIDE Welterweight and Middleweight World Champion Dan Henderson. Thesaddestday 02:29, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks man, thats gonna be a great fight Renny11 9:29 pm, 11 June 2007 (PT)

No problem... and actually I probably could have come up with a better translation but a bulk of the work was done by a European friend who has English as a second language, haha sorry I didn't clean it up more but oh well we all get the point Thesaddestday 04:54, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Dont worry about it, I think cro cop is gonna dominate him though. Better stand up than Kongo and he can actually do something on the ground. Renny11 10:37, 10 June 2007 (pacific time) p.s the google translation has "cro co-pilot" lol

[edit] Bisping vs Hamill

No one delete this fight. User:Renny11

Apparently it is Bisping vs Shamrock now. WTF is going on with this event man? User:Renny11

[edit] Should we post unannounced fights?

If UFC or the fighters camp doesnt say so i dont think we should be saying who they are fighting. We can just say at the top of the page instead of announced fights.

It's against the rules. WP:NOT#CBALL does not allow speculation to be posted on Wikipedia. hateless 03:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] UFC "Brings the champions"??

Where did you get this title of the event from?

[edit] Nationality of Cheick

He is French, please do not remove this. Renny11

[edit] Rogan shows

Can we please leave something up about the Rogan shows in town ? The fighters have all come down the night before to see him in Manchester and Belfast.

[edit] Decisions

Just a question: why put 'Split Decision at 5:00 of Round 3' when everyone knows that decisions come at the end of fully completed matches? Just a question. Bozu 21:10, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

You can have a technical decision before the end of the fight if its stopped due to a accidental foul. Its rare but it can happen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.73.163.69 (talk) 14:33, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
