Uezwil is a municipality in the district of Bremgarten in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
It has a population of 365 (as of 2005). It is not to be confused with Uzwil in the canton of St. Gallen.
In 1936 a 4,500 year old megalith dating from the Neolithic was discovered. Roman finds point to human habitation in the area during the classical period. Around 500 a settlement of Alamanni developed in the area. A village of this name was first documented in 1306 in a Habsburg land deed.
