Udayagiri is located at 14.8667° N 79.3167° E.[2] It has an average elevation of 230 meters (757 feet).

[edit] Udayagiri Fort

The Udayagiri fort in Andhra Pradesh is located in Nellore district on the hills of Udayagiri. The hill on which the fort lies rises to a height of 3079 ft. above the mean sea level. It consists of eleven fortresses, 8 on the hill and 3 below. It covers an area of about seven miles. The existing fortifications reveal Islamic features. It was the stronghold of the Gajapatis of Orissa till Krishna Deva Raya annexed it.
