[edit] Men's Junior or Junior Men's

Title says it all, which is the correct 'form'?. In some UCI Road World Championships articles I used Men's Junior and I'm not sure if that's correct. Drunt (talk) 21:29, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

[1] lists 5 categories:
  1. Junior Women
  2. U23 Men
  3. Junior Men
  4. Elite Women
  5. Elite Men

As ever, much of the UCI website is inaccessible so I'm not really sure. SeveroTC 22:28, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

There's also the question of how to deal with the event since it was dropped from the main programme, and moved to its own programme. SeveroTC 17:20, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

As far as I know UCI moved all Junior events in 2005 (Track and Road for both men and women) to UCI Junior World Championships. Here is the website of the 2007 edition. Junior events should have their own template (and be removed from this one) in case someone creates the article for those competitions. This is how all the events were handled this year

There are also Masters World Championships but I don't think they are really that important. Regards--Drunt (talk) 18:36, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

There's the whole issue of the "secondary" world championships, such as the Junior, Masters and also "B" world championships. I'm not sure if they are notable enough for Wikipedia... In this template though I was thinking of adding an extra line with former events (like amateur road race and team time trial). As a former event, the Junior races could have a link there (wherever that link led). SeveroTC 14:34, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
