Uchinomi, Kagawa

Uchinomi (内海町; -cho) was a town located in Shōzu District, Kagawa, Japan on Shodoshima, an island in the Inland Sea. On March 21, 2006 the town merged with the town of Ikeda forming the town of Shodoshima and no longer exists as an indepdent municipality.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 12,177 and a density of 197.90 persons per km². The total area was 61.53 km².
