A list of the players from the UCSB Gauchos men's soccer team to play soccer professionally as well as how they left UC Santa Barbara. Players in bold have senior international caps.

• Joe Cannon '93 transferred to Santa Clara University, then went on to play professionally. Currently with San Jose Earthquakes of the MLS.

• Thiago Martins '01 left UCSB in 2002 to play for the now-defunct San Diego Flash of the A-League. Currently in Norway with FK Bodø/Glimt of the Tippeligaen.

• Jaime Ambriz '02 graduated from UCSB in 2002 and signed with SV Lyss of the Swiss 1. Liga. Currently with Ventura County Fusion of the PDL.

• Rob Friend '03 was drafted by Chicago Fire in the 4th Round (35th Overall) of the 2003 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB, but signed with Moss FK of the Norwegian Adeccoligaen. Currently in Germany with Borussia Mönchengladbach of the Fußball-Bundesliga as well as the Canadian National Team.

• Alan Keely '03 left UCSB in 2003 to play for Kildare County F.C. of the Irish Football League of Ireland First Division. Currently in Ireland with Shelbourne F.C. of the FAI eircom League of Ireland First Division.

• David McGill '04 was drafted by Los Angeles Galaxy in the 4th Round (33rd Overall) of the 2004 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB, but signed with Dublin City F.C. of the Irish Football League of Ireland Premier Division. Currently in Ireland with Shelbourne F.C. of the FAI eircom League of Ireland First Division.

• Dan Kennedy '05 was drafted by Club Deportivo Chivas USA in the 4th Round (38th Overall) of the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft out of UCSB. Currently with Club Deportivo Chivas USA of the MLS.

• Tony Lochhead '05 was drafted by New England Revolution in the 3rd Round (33rd Overall) of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently in Australia with Wellington Phoenix FC of the A-League as well as the New Zealand National Team.

• Bryan Byrne '07 was drafted by New England Revolution in the 3rd Round (38th Overall) of the 2007 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently with Ventura County Fusion of the PDL.

• Tyler Rosenlund '07 left UCSB to play in Sweden for Åtvidabergs FF of the Superettan. Currently in Canada with Toronto FC of the MLS as well as the Canadian National Team.

• Andy Iro '08 was drafted by Columbus Crew in the 1st Round (6th Overall) of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently with Columbus Crew of the MLS.

• Tino Nuñez '08 was drafted by Real Salt Lake in the 2nd Round (17th Overall) of the 2008 MLS Supplemental Draft out of UCSB. Currently with Real Salt Lake of the MLS.

• Ciaran O'Brien '08 was drafted by Colorado Rapids in the 1st Round (5th Overall) of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently with Colorado Rapids of the MLS.

• Memo Arzate '02 was drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 3rd Round (22nd Overall) of the 2004 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB.

• Neil Jones '05 graduated from UCSB in 2005 and signed with Queensland Roar FC for the Australian A-League as well as featuring for the New Zealand National Team. Currently an assistant coach for UCSB.

• Drew McAthy '05 was drafted by Los Angeles Galaxy in the 2nd Round (19th Overall) of the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft out of UCSB, but signed with Puerto Rico Islanders of the USL First Division.

• Ivan Becerra '06 was drafted by Columbus Crew in the 3rd Round (27th Overall) of the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft out of UCSB.

• Nate Boyden '06 graduated from UCSB and signed with Seattle Sounders as a free agent.

• Eric Avila '08 was drafted by FC Dallas in the 2nd Round (19th Overall) of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently with FC Dallas of the MLS.
