I don't entirely understand it myself, see edit summary of Template:User Coke Pepsi for more details. Apparently User:Jtkiefer thought it was necessary to remove the logos due to copyright violation. I am going to revert to the non-logo images for now, if you don't mind, until we get closure on this matter. I have left a message at User talk:Jtkiefer's talk page, and I will see what develops. Sorry about all this, and I hope to get it resolved. Further questions can be addressed at my talk page. Regards, Ian Manka Questions? Talk to me! 22:46, 28 December 2005 (UTC).
Fixed links. Sorry. Ian Manka Questions? Talk to me! 22:49, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
I have removed the image again, fair use only applies in articles about the subject and does not apply to userboxes. As such it is against policy and a copyright violation for us to use the image in a userbox. JtkieferT | C | @ ---- 01:05, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

It is against wikipedia policy for fair-use images to be used outside of articles. Ian13ID:540053 16:01, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

It would be nice to have a public domain image for this template. Or maybe not. --Dschor 12:04, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
