Talk:Ubsunur Hollow

This article is the practically the same as Uvs Nuur basin. So, it should be merged and redirected. -- P199 (talk) 13:04, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- In this discussion we're still trying to figure out how exactly that "Ubsunur Hollow" relates to the "Uvs Nuur basin", or if it actually might just be a different name for the same thing. So let's not be too hasty changing more stuff around until we have a reasonably convincing result there. --Latebird (talk) 06:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Support merge - While a basin and a hollow are two separate things, geographically, that doesn't implicitly mean that they need separate articles. For example, if you look at Amazon Basin you can see that that article discusses geographical features as well as flora, fauna and human habitation, i.e. the same type of info that's present here. Thus, having a separate article for Ubsunur Hollow seems redundant. It would make the most sense is if this article were merged into Uvs Nuur Basin. - Hux (talk) 22:56, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Uvs Nuur central discussion

- Strongly disagreed. Discussions of specific topics must be carried out in talk pages of the corresponding articles. And the discussion is already in progress. before you jumped in with wikilawyering. Project pages are for general organization. Instead of herding people around, why don't you write an article or two instead? `'Míkka>t 04:20, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

- I'm not "herding people around". I'm trying to help. If you don't agree with the nature of that attempt then that's your prerogative, but I fail to see how your belligerence is justified. Is this the way you treat everyone who makes an effort to improve things? - Hux (talk) 11:42, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
