200-million pixel CCD? I doubt it. The very latest digital camera backs are 46 megapixels, and they cost over twenty thousand pounds. This must be a typo. I cant fix it because i dont know the actual numbers... cheers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.137.96.79 (talk • contribs) 04:27, 21 March 2007
- Strange as that might sound, it does appear to exist. Please see the patentstorm.us article on the matter. --Cheers, Folajimi (leave a note) 11:16, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi there. Indeed this does exist. But the 200 Mega Pixel claim simply cannot be true. Most of the web accounts of this device that use that figure have quoted wikipedia. Most other sites which have specs for this device say 2megapixels, and talk about its JPEG compression caperbilities in that range. Besides, since it only comes with 32MB internal memory, it couldnt even hold one single picture from a 200 megapixel sensor. Ill change the info and add refs when i have time... Peace.
- Ok, specs corrected and source added. 195.137.96.79 21:28, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
