[edit] Hungary
Hi Uannis, could you explain why you replaced some words in the Hungary infobox with Turkish? Thanks, KissL 08:11, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fa nomination of Turkish language
Uannis, I think we should put the nomination on hold for now. I asked this on the talk page, so far no one has responded. We should first get a peer review and better the article denizTC 20:53, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] FA nominations
Please do not nominate articles for FA so quickly - see Turkey to have an idea about how a FA article should be like. Turkish language was ok, but the Turkish people article will not become a FA in its current state. It would be better if you raised any potential nominations in the talk page of the WikiProject Turkey so that other editors can weigh in the debate before it goes into the actual reviewing process. It would be better if you took back your FA nomination of Turkish people. It is extremely hard writing FAs, and premature nominations can be really confusing: better refer to people who have worked on the articles for a long time. Cheers! [edit] USSR name in Turkmen
Hi! You speak turkmen, right? If yes, can you translate the name of USSR into turkmen? Thanks! 201.35.253.144 17:30, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Category:User az-0 and Category:User tr-0
I have speedy deleted two categories you created, Category:User az-0 and Category:User tr-0, as recreation of previously deleted material. Please see this UCFD, resulting in delete. Thanks for understanding! VegaDark (talk) 23:54, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- You recreated them the next day, and I just tagged them again for speedy deletion. Please don't create those categories again. WODUP 21:44, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Uyghur Scouting
Can you help render Tayyar Bol (Be Prepared), the Scout Motto, into Uyghur script? Thanks! Chris 06:36, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] TRNC / Northern Cyprus move
Why did you move Northern Cyprus to "Turkish Republic of Northern Cypru"? We now need to request admin help to get it moved back. Don't you think "Cypru" is incorrect? AstarothCY (talk) 23:49, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hapis(h)ane
I agree that the spelling hapishane is more correct, but in Pamuk's text (Kar) it is in fact spelt hapisane. I've added a sentence to the footnote in the main article & put a note on the talk page to see what others feel about this. Of course this article is about Turkish, not Pamuk's style & spelling! --NigelG (or Ndsg) | Talk 21:04, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I'd done the same search in TS myself! About 15% of google hits are hapisane, the remaining 85% hapishane—so you definitely have numbers on your side. Mind you, the standard spelling eczane omits the etymologically-correct h (eczahane). --NigelG (or Ndsg) | Talk 21:36, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Turkish city names
Please do not add Turkish names to Bulgarian cities before discussing this first on the corresponding talk pages. If you do not revert and continue ignoring editors' consensus, your contributions will be considered vandalism. --Cameltrader (talk) 14:48, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
