"U Don't Have to Call" is a 2002 single from Usher's 2001 album 8701. It was the third US single from the album and the fifth UK single, peaking at number 3 the United States Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. In the UK, it was released as part of a double A-side with his collaboration with P. Diddy on "I Need A Girl" (Part 1). The single reached number 4 in the United Kingdom.
The song eventually won Usher his second consecutive Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 2003.
"U Don't Have to Call" was the final single from 8701 which sold 4 million copies in the US.
The single's music video was filmed in Los Angeles at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
