From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur is one of thirteen United States Golf Association national championships, which provides amateur women over the age of 25 a chance to compete for a national championship. The U.S. Women's Amateur Open by contrast, is often filled by women who are under 25 and hoping to turn pro. Those wishing to play must have a handicap index of 9.4 or lower.
