U.S. Taxpayers Party of Michigan

The U.S. Taxpayers Party of Michigan is the Michigan affiliate of the Constitution Party. Like its national counterpart, the U.S. Taxpayers Party of Michigan is a strongly right-wing party affiliated with the Christian right movement in American politics. The party is one of five, ballot qualified parties in Michigan [1].

In the November 2007 elections party member Scott Stevens was elected to the Warren City Council. This is a non-partisan position as are all city council positions in Michigan [2].

It is a member of the Michigan Third Parties Coalition.[1]
