U.S. Highway 80 (US-80), internally designated by the Alabama Department of Transportation as State Route 8 (SR-8), is a major east-west state highway across the central part of the U.S. state of Alabama. At the west end, near the Mississippi state line, US-80 overlaps US-11/SR-7 to the line, while SR-8 continues west to end at I-59.
In Alabama, US-80 and SR-8 pass through the following cities and towns:
US-80 and SR-8 intersect the following Interstate highways, U.S. highways, and major state routes in Alabama:
- U.S. Highway 43 and unsigned State Route 13 at Demopolis
- State Route 5 in western Dallas County near Uniontown
- State Route 14 at Selma.
- U.S. Highway 31 and unsigned State Route 3 in Montgomery. The routes briefly overlap in the southwestern part of the city
- U.S. Highway 82 and unsigned State Route 6 in Montgomery. The routes overlap along South Boulevard in the city.
- Interstate 65 at Montgomery
- U.S. Highway 331 and unsigned State Route 9 in Montgomery
- U.S. Highway 231 and unsigned State Route 53 in Montgomery. The routes overlap along East Boulevard in the city.
- Interstate 85 at Montgomery (Exit 6) and again east of Montgomery (Exit 12)
- U.S. Highway 29 and unsigned State Route 15 at Tuskegee. The routes overlap until they split near Auburn.
- U.S. Highway 280, unsigned State Route 38, U.S. Highway 431 and unsigned State Route 1 at Phenix City. US-80, 280 and 431 and SR-1, 8 and 38 briefly overlap in Phenix City.
