U.S. Highway 11 (US-11), internally designated by the Alabama Department of Transportation as State Route 7 (SR-7), is a major southwest-northeast state highway across the U.S. state of Alabama. US-11 roughly parallels Interstate 59 throughout the state.
In Alabama, US-11 and SR-7 pass through the following cities and towns:
- Livingston
- York
- Eutaw
- Tuscaloosa
- Bessemer
- Birmingham
- Trussville
- Springville
- Attalla
- Collinsville
- Fort Payne
US-11 and SR-7 enter Alabama on the same route as U.S. Highway 80 and State Route 8 east of Meridian, Mississippi, and intersect the following Interstate highways, U.S. highways, and major state routes in Alabama:
- State Route 17 at York
- State Route 14 at Eutaw
- U.S. Highway 43 and unsigned State Route 13 at Eutaw. These routes overlap until they split in Tuscaloosa.
- Interstate 20/Interstate 59 in northern Greene County near Knoxville
- Interstate 359 and State Route 69 in Tuscaloosa. Northbound US-11, SR-7 and SR-69 are routed on southbound I-359 for the entirety of the interstate highway's route.
- U.S. Highway 82 and unsigned State Route 6 in Tuscaloosa
- Interstate 20/Interstate 59 at Cottondale
- Interstate 20/Interstate 59 at Coaling
- State Route 5 near West Blocton. SR-5 is paired with US-11 and SR-7 for 28 miles until these routes intersect with U.S. Highway 78 in Birmingham near historic Legion Field.
- Interstate 20/Interstate 59 near West Blocton. US-11, SR-5 and SR-7 are routed on I-20/I-59 between Exits 97 and 108.
- Interstate 459 near Bessemer
- U.S. Highway 78 and unsigned State Route 4 in Birmingham. US-11 and 78 and SR-4 and 7 are co-routed as they enter downtown from the west. Routes 78 and 4 spilt from Routes 11 and 7 at the intersection of 1st Avenue North and 24th Street.
