I don't know if any one else has looked at the other infoboxes out there. But most of them to do not make an odd color the background. I have no idea what significance blue holds to this infobox or why it has to be blue. Only about 3 schools use this box anyway. I disagree with the reversion, please take a look at Template:Infobox University2, Template:Infobox University3, Template:Infobox University4, Template:Infobox University5, or Template:Infobox University6. -Scm83x 23:30, 6 November 2005 (UTC)

I see your point. The reason for the blue background was that this template was based off of an informal template(i.e. it was a lot of confusing HTML) hence, I made this template for convenience, and the blue background was part of the HTML. It would probably be a good idea to keep it like it is now, but that's not to say it makes a nice decorative touch.--D-Day 11:56, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for creating the template, but I guess it doesn't fit my needs. I'll probably create another one for my own use when I have sometime. Thanks for making it; I just can't use it. Happy Wiki-ing! -Scm83x 16:05, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Request for Comment: Appearence

This is a disput about the formatting and appearence (not the substance) of the template.

Statements by editors previously involved in dispute
  • I propose editing this template to be more in line with the other templates of interest, like Template:Infobox_University. For reference, I have a reference implementation to look at. I beleive that making most fields optional other than the name and maybe grade level and location would be in line. I also suggest that we make the field names lowercase and underscored (as opposed to using whitespaces). TeaTime666 02:28, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
  • (clarication) What I mean is that the feild parameters should be lowercase, not the names. Excuse my mix up. TeaTime666 02:47, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Third Opinion - No dispute. I suggest WP:BOLD. --User:Krator (t c) 11:23, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
