[edit] only one

This cannot possibly be the only rt 40 alternate in the united states, i know for a fact that there are 2 in maryland, i propose that we rename this article to state that it is one of the ones in maryland, or to put maryland in the title and include both of the alternate rt 40s.Hollowman512 00:39, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Sure, we could treat the Maryland Alt 40 as a single discontiguous road and rename the article "U.S. Route 40 Alternate (Maryland)" since there's an Alt 40 in Nevada and California. –Shoaler (talk) 12:50, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Ok cool, since youre the only editor of this page, how bout you make the move so that your name will be at the top of the history. Hollowman512 19:48, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Repairs

I plan on doing some major updates and reconfigurations to this article to bring it into line with the format shown at U.S. Route 111 and U.S. Route 240. -TheOneKEA (20070612 08:56)
