[edit] History additions

This article (and U.S. Route 41 in Illinois, U.S. Route 20 in Illinois) would be greatly helped by a general evaluation of the Chicagoland area in 1928, and especially 1938 when all of the U.S. Routes were kicked out of the immediate city area.

I can't imagine that Mannheim Road, La Grange Road, 95th Street, etc. were all that populated when the routes were moved to these roads, but why were they chosen? —Rob (talk) 07:28, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
