Tzu Chi University(Chinese: 慈濟大學), or TCU, is a private university in Hualien, Taiwan (Republic of China). It was founded by the Tzu Chi foundation. Tzu Chi University is famous for its Medical education in Taiwan. It is considered to be the best medical education institution in the eastern Taiwan.
The university is situated on the eastern part of the island of Taiwan, half an hour from the Hualien Airport.
TCU has very strong ties with Hualien Tzu Chi General Hospital.
