[edit] Career

Tyson was a semi-finalist in the first season of Starz Network's reality-based television show, Looking for Stars.[3] The show is similar to American Idol, except the winner of the show was to receive a speaking role in a major movie production by Revolution Studios. After impressing the judges with a self-written dramatic interpretation, he was selected as a semi-finalist and narrowed from over 3,000 down to the final 16 in Orlando, FL. He was eliminated from the show on April 2, 2006. [4] The winner of the show was Marcus Woodswelch, who was given a role in the film "Next" starring Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore.[5]

He will be making his professional stage debut in Artisan Center Theater's production of The Music Man in the summer of 2008.[6]
