In week four of the 2007 season he made his first defensive touchdown of his career as he recovered a fumble 50 yards to help the Chiefs defeat the San Diego Chargers 30 to 16. In week nine of the 2007 season instead of attempting to tackle the opponent, he intentionally punched Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall in the groin.
