Tyrol Basin is a ski and snowboard area located in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. It has both an equal mix of beginner and intermediate runs as well as a mix of advanced and expert runs. Tyrol Basin has 16 runs of average size for Midwest hills. The ski area attracts many skiers and snowboarders from nearby Madison, Wisconsin.[1][2]

At the base of the hill near the first chairlift, Tyrol has a small gift shop, rental building, and food lodge.

Tyrol Basin has beginner green runs through a double black diamond, expert run.

The hill offers a ski school for both private and group lessons.

Tyrol also has NASTAR racing almost every weekend.

Tyrol Basin has 3 terrain parks including a gentle park with smaller features that attracts beginner riders.

They host the United States Ski and Snowboard Association which holds several skiing and snowboarding competitions on weekends.
