Talk:Tyre raid
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've returned to previous version.
1. There is no confirms for killed IDF soldier. I know from the participant that there were no killed soldiers at all. 2. Hizbollah claimed that cassualities are civilians, however all of them killed in fight. 3. It is absolutely clear that the operation was successfull, but I remain the results as it now. Hizbollah claimed to victory, as usual. Shmuliko 11:08, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
If the IDF soldiers succeeded in eliminating Hezbollah fighters residing in the appartment as they claim, can you explain why appachis targeted the same appartment while the commandos where fleeing, it has either one of two explanations: either that the IDF ground forces got their asses kicked as usual & asked for air support, or that the israelis where trying to make sure that there is a civilian toll like they always do, why else would the appartment be targeted if the Commandos where able to eliminate Hezbolla fighters as they claim. In addition to that the israelis confessed to 8 injured 2 of them in critical situation, what kind of successful operation is that when most of your brigade members are hit!! of course in the IDF case, by now we all know that Injured means ( Killed but we fear that the world will know what pussies we r), apart from civilian Eye witnesses who confirmed they saw at least 3 dead israeli soldiers. I really think that IDF are the only ones exaggerating & claiming foolish victories in this war, Wikipedia should start stating figures from independent press not IDF sources, this site should not be used for propaganda purposes.
- The strange thing is that Shayetet 13 says that the operation was considered a failure because they had 10 wounded, and this page says 8 wounded. Why this difference?

Yes, the Battlebox is citing information Provided by the IDF, not Independent sources.
To make the things worse Hezbollah casualties are from IDF claims not from the same Hezbollah. This is really bad try to look at the internet or some reliable newspaper for information regarding the casualties.
The WIKIPEDIA is being used by some people to change numbers and facts for the benefit of some countries, and many adminis allow it, what a pity.
Shmuliko, am not sure what you meant by I know from the participant that there were no killed soldiers at all but if you mean that you are relying in your sources on IDF soldiers please keep in mind that while withdrawing from south lebanon after litani offensive, many participants were asking if they managed to free the 2 captured Israeli soldiers, so i don't think the soldiers remarks are to be considered as evidence since they were the least informed.
