I object to referring to the subject of this article as a woman, considering that plastic surgery to make someone appear female does not make them such, any more than surgery to make someone look feline makes them a cat.

Considering the fact that she was killed, I'm not certain what "self-delusions" she can now have regarding her gender. AnnieHall 07:21, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

If you have sources to back up your claim that transsexuality is a delusion, such as legetimate scientific studies, please feel free to add them to the appropriate article on the subject. Granted, there are few studies on the condition (probably because most people just assume what you believe and don't care enough about the suffering it causes to determine the actual cause of it), but the limited number that do exist indicate that a genuine biological cause (a form of intersexuality that affects the brain, perhaps) at very least cannot be ruled out. Without science to support your claims, I'm afraid they're no more meaningful than claims about the current political situation of a hypothetical race of beings living in the Andromeda galaxy. --Icarus 07:45, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
