[edit] Bluemarine RFA
You may want to weigh in Bluemarine's case, which has now been referred for arbitration. Aatombomb (talk) 07:08, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bob Maud
Just wanted to let you know I moved your page from Bob maud to Bob Maud so the title was in the proper capitalization format. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:39, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Beat me to it, apparently we were working on it at the same time! Thanks. Typing Monkey - (type to me) 19:41, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for your support
It's always nice to know that someone can understand your points-of-view. Or at least one of them ;) Have a great day. Wjhonson (talk) 04:35, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- You're welcome! This whole uproar over what seems to be a simple issue puzzles me. Typing Monkey - (type to me) 04:41, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Elonka
If this stuff is true about Elonka, I'm really kind of pissed off. Aatombomb (talk) 05:16, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I can imagine. It's unsourced, though, so hold your guns (or, keep holding them). This whole Sanchez thing is odd from every angle, isn't it? Typing Monkey - (type to me) 05:23, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Beyond belief. Somebody here is a master manipulator and it's likely there is more than one. Aatombomb (talk) 05:25, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- And now they've deleted any record of it. Aatombomb (talk) 05:38, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- That was quick. And also so very strange. I wonder if anyone saved any of that? And I wonder where it came from? It looked like a saved IM. Which would qualify as original research. Unfortunately I don't think any of the major news agencies would report that sort of thing. So, it does not exist. Cheers!Typing Monkey - (type to me) 06:03, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's enough to call her behavior into question. She's been in the peanut gallery on this, I think she should be a party to it. Aatombomb (talk) 06:08, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I think so, too. Are you going to make a motion to add her? I don't have any experience in arbitration cases until now, fortunately (or unfortunately). I considered opening a request for arbitration on this case months ago because I genuinely believe (add bleeding heart icon here) that things have gone seriously wrong in the Sanchez case, which is why I opened the RfC. However, I'm not one of "those in power", whoever they are. Typing Monkey - (type to me) 06:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I would be glad to. I understand where you are coming from. This guy has gamed the system to no end and he's had the indulgence of administrators to do it. I just suggested adding her as a party, but I'm not sure how to make a formal motion. Aatombomb (talk) 06:18, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Use the template at the arbcom workshop under "Motions and requests?" Wjhonson added himself as a party, you can use that as an example to form. I would have no idea how to phrase it. I understand your point of view, though.Typing Monkey - (type to me) 06:26, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Done. Aatombomb (talk) 06:31, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm already a party. Aatombomb (talk) 06:47, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry. I'll amend.Typing Monkey - (type to me) 06:48, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Unfortunately (I often use that word when discussing this situation) I think our new (SPA) editor from Tennessee has thrown a big wrench in the works by posting that. He shouldn't have, but he did. It was not necessary. Typing Monkey - (type to me) 07:06, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks on the pic
Thanks for the compliment on the picture. Actually "mountain range" is correct, since the mountain ranges in Oklahoma (those actually considered mountain ranges) were created by volcanic activity millions of years ago, which makes them mountains and not hills :) I moved from California, and experienced the same kind of response. People assumed I was moving to some desolate dust bowl. Okiefromokla's sockpuppet/talk 01:49, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- You're right, the Kiamichi mountains aren't an actual mountain range, but just a small section of the ouachitas, as far as I know. Thanks for the compliment! I've done several photos, my other favorites are on the articles over the Glass Mountains and the Oklahoma Panhandle. I'll try to keep them coming. Okiefromokla questions? 05:17, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
