Typha angustifolia L. |
Typha angustifolia (L.), Lesser Bulrush or Narrow Leaf Cattail, is a perennial herbaceous plant of genus Typha. This cattail is found in the northern hemisphere in marshy locations. In North America, it is an introduced plant.
Typha angustifolia overlaps its range with Typha latifolia, with which it hybridizes as Typha x glauca (Typha angustifolia x T. latifolia) , white cattail. Common cattail is usually found in shallower water than narrow leaf cattail.
