Typer Shark! is a typing game created and developed by PopCap Games.
The game follows a diver who is searching through wrecks at the bottom of the sea to look for treasure. As he descends to the sea floor, waves of sharks or piranhas will appear. The player must type the word on the side of the animal to eliminate it.
A full-featured downloadable version and a limited feature online version are available at Yahoo! Games.

[edit] Details
As the game progresses, more types of sharks will appear. Upon reaching the bottom of the sea, the diver will find a sunken ship with treasure inside it. A bonus round will then start in which the player must type certain words within a set time limit. Other features of the game include a shark zapper, which will destroy all the fish on the screen, and cumulative bonuses for perfect typing.

[edit] Web Game
Here are the fish in the order in which they appear:
- Blue Shark: Normal sharks with one word each.
- Piranha: These come in larger swarms, but each piranha has only one letter.
- Hammerhead Shark (Black): You must type two words to get rid of these. (Only one word appears at a time.)
- White Piranha: The characters on these can also be numbers and punctuation.
- Tiger Shark (Red): You must type three words to clear these.
- Red Piranha: You must type two letters each.
- Purple Sharks: Letters are shown rotated or flipped.
- Toxic Sharks: These sharks are green; letters originally form a word, but then scramble randomly.
- Ghost Sharks: Letters are not visible until it is about half way through the screen.
The object of this game is to level up until you reach the highest level, which is Master of Typer Shark, and is achieved at 5,085,000 points. Afterwards, you can keep playing, but there is no higher level, and the game eventually stops counting up your score just past 1,100,000.
[edit] Advanced/Deluxe Game
- Blue Sharks : Default sharks, only need one word to defeat them.
- Blue Piranhas : Default piranhas, which come in a large number. Only one letter is needed to defeat each of them.
- White Piranhas : Stronger pirnahas, which also come in a large number. Two letters are needed to defeat each of them.
- Hammerhead Sharks : Stronger sharks. Two words needed to defeat them.
- Tiger Sharks : The strongest sharks. Three words needed to defeat them.
- Toxic Sharks : These mutant sharks originally showed a word, that keeps scrambling randomly, example: HOT -> HTO -> TOH, continuously.
- Ghost Sharks : These sharks have gibberish on their side, that makes them hard to beat, example : MZQ, KXZ, MQW, etc.
- Stealth Sharks/Piranhas : Unlike the ghost sharks at the web game, these sharks' letters are not 100% invisible. You can type it whenever you want, but the maximum visibility is at the appearing point.
- Jellyfish : Unlike the other creatures, these are harmless. When the words on them typed correctly, it will increase the "Shark Zapper" and also worth huge points.
- Clams : These are special creatures, also harmless. Clams are only found at Bonus Stage.
[edit] Typing Tutor
The Deluxe game has a typing tutor to help player decide their Typing Level. The Typing Tutor is intended to teach players how to improve their typing.
